Obituary for Michael (NMN) Bertoldi Sr.
Michael Bertoldi, Sr., 84, of Hummelstown entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, PA. He was the loving husband of Sandra L. (Anderson) Bertoldi for over 57 years.
Mike was born November 21, 1937, in Mount Carmel, PA and was the son of the late Edward and Eva (Horschak) Bertoldi.
Mike was a retired bookkeeper and was a member of St. Ann’s Byzantine Catholic Church. He also was a 3rd Degree Knight, with the Knights of Columbus, Council #15107.
Mike enjoyed helping with the church annual picnic and attending church as often as he could. Mike loved being a grandfather so his greatest joy was his grandchildren and supporting them in their many activities.
Mike is survived by his wife, his sons, Michael Bertoldi, Jr., John S. Bertoldi and Daniel Bertoldi; his daughter, Angela Messimer and husband, Tony; his brother, Thomas Bertoldi and wife, Sue; his seven grandchildren, Samantha Bertoldi, David Messimer, Jessica Halbach and husband, Robert, Rebecca Messimer, Noah Messimer, Eli Messimer and Joshua Messimer and two great grandchildren, Snow Messimer and Charlotte Karns.
A Burial Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in St. Ann’s Byzantine Catholic Church at 5408 Locust Lane, Harrisburg, PA 17109. A viewing will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am, Wednesday, February 23rd in the Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, South Hanover Township, PA.
