Obituary for Michael J. Versari

Michael Joseph Versari, 73, of Carlisle formerly of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on November 3, 2020 at ManorCare Health Services Carlisle. He was born in Harrisburg to the late Elmer M., Sr. and Madeline (Podgorski) Versari.

He is survived by a sister, Linda J. Noel and husband Carl; a brother, Joseph S. Versari; 2 nieces, Stacy Heineman and Suzanne Kearse; and 6 great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Elmer M. Versari, Jr..

Michael was a member of Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church and was involved in the Knights of Columbus 3501. He was a social member of the VFW, the American Legion, and the Sons of the Legion. He enjoyed going to the beach with his family, shopping trips, and going out to eat.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 11 AM at Seven Sorrows BVM, 280 N. Race St., Middletown, PA 17057 with Fr. Ted Keating as celebrant. A viewing will take place from 10 AM until time of the service. Burial will follow Mass in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Services has been entrusted to Matinchek Funeral Home, 260 E.
