Michelle Louise Attinger, 64, of Elizabethtown entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at her home. She was the wife of Anthony “James” Attinger for 25 years.
She was born January 14, 1958 in Harrisburg and was the loving daughter of the late Daniel V. and Katherine (Metzler) Gutshall.
Michelle enjoyed watching for cardinals outside her windows, horseback riding, swimming, skiing, camping, music (John Denver), dancing, snow, Christmas time, going to the beach and shopping. Her greatest love was spending time with her family. She loved animals including her bird Kaz; cat, Bella and sadly her cat that passed Charlie.
In addition to her parents, Michelle was preceded in death by her siblings, Daniel Gutshall, Marcelene Manning, Jimmie Gutshall.
Michelle is survived by her son, Justin Nicholson (Erin Klauer); daughters, Madison Attinger, Schenley Attinger, Holly Ferguson (Ryan), Ashley Nicholson (Eric Hoar); sister, Susan White; grandchildren, Jailynne, Malia, Kian, Brennan, Brynnleigh, Harper, Brittney, Porter, Hayden; great-grandson, Rhett; bonus son, Josh Mojica; bonus daughter, Ally Garman and best friend in the world, June Deimler.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 260 E. Main St. Middletown, PA. There will be a visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday.
In lieu flowers memorial contributions may be made in Michelle’s name to the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area, Inc. 7790 Grayson Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
