Obituary for Nancy Joan Marie Stichter (Stichter)
On Saturday, May 15th, 2021 Nancy Stichter, 63, of Harrisburg, PA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Nancy was born on October 22, 1957 and graduated from Middletown Area High School in 1975. She received an advanced degree in culinary science from WACC and a BS in Business from Albright College. Her greatest loves were living in Alaska and her many pets. She enjoyed fishing and was most proud of her 64 lb. barracuda caught off Cancun. She will be remembered for her quick wit, talents with cooking, and fun spirit.
Nancy is predeceased by her parents, Dolores and Richard Stichter, and survived by her sister Joyce (Robert) Kopko, brother Richard (Cindy) Stichter, and sister Anne Davidson. She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephew, fondly remembering her as the “fun aunt.”
A private memorial service will be held for immediate family members. A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, PA or Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA.
