Obituary for Nicholas L. Grassi Jr.
Nicholas L. Grassi, Jr., 77, of Middletown PA, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital. He was born on June 11, 1942 in Middletown PA, and was the son of the late Nicholas and Dorothy Grassi, Sr.
He proudly served his nation as a United States Marine from 1960 through 1965, and he was a member of American Legion Post #945. Nicholas was a faithful Christian and loved his family unconditionally.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Wendy Grassi, his daughter Nichole Tedesco and her husband Daniel, his son Nicholas Grassi III and wife Tonia, stepdaughter Christine Glatfelter and husband Gabe, and several grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 11:00AM at Saint Theresa’s Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St., New Cumberland PA. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Middletown. Due to COVID-19 limitations attendance will be restricted to immediate and extended family only. Appropriate social distancing measures will be taken, masks will be required.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
The family has entrusted the Matinchek Funeral Home, 260 E. Main St. Middletown with the funeral arrangements.
