Oliver H. Geesey, 80, of Lower Paxton Township, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 7, 2022 in the UPMC Community General Hospital, Harrisburg. He was the loving husband of D. Elinor (Watkins) Geesey for over 36 years.
Oliver was born May 29, 1941, in Middletown, PA and was the son of the late Roy F. and Harriet M. (Condran) Geesey.
Oliver was a US Army Veteran, Vietnam Era, and retired from Mechanicsburg Navy Depot. He was a member of the Middletown Moose, Lodge 410 and American Legion Post 594, Middletown. Oliver loved to travel with his wife, especially tropical places like Hawaii.
Oliver is survived by his wife, his son, Daryl E. Geesey and wife, Debbie, his stepson, David Thompson and wife, Kim, his stepdaughter, Debbie Thompson, his brother, Ron Geesey and wife, Mary Lib, his four grandchildren, two step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, May 12, 2022 in the Matinchek Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 260 East Main Street, Middletown, PA. A visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am, Thursday in the funeral home. Inurnment will follow the services in the Middletown Cemetery, Middletown, PA.
