Obituary for Paul Franklin Brady Jr.
Paul Franklin Brady, Jr., 86, formerly of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on February13, 2022 in his home in Alpharetta, GA. He was born April 19, 1935 in Harrisburg to the late Paul Franklin, Sr. and Mildred (Stulich) Brady.
He is survived by his loving wife Harriet (Swartz) Brady; 2 children, Paul Franklin Brady, III and wife Mary Lynn and Cathy Brady Thomas and husband Michael; 5 grandchildren, Ashley Brady and husband Justin Harford, Greg Manning, Courtney Meloney and husband Kyle, Nathan Brady, and Taylor Brady; a sister, Helen Lewis and husband Richard; and several nieces and nephews.
Paul proudly served in the United States Air Force, while stationed in Washington DC he played TAPS with the honor guard. He was a member of the Middletown American Legion. He started his early career at MetEd and then retired from Three Mile Island. He was an avid golfer and coached Little League baseball and basketball for Middletown. Paul was a diehard Philadelphia sports fan, never missing a game.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at noon at Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 260 E. Main St., Middletown, PA 17057. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 11 AM until time of the service. Burial will follow services in Middletown Cemetery.
