Obituary for Ralph William Zerphey Jr.
Ralph W. Zerphey, Jr., 78, of Londonderry Township, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 24, 2022 in M.S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA. He was the loving husband, for over 59 years, of Reba M. (Roush) Zerphey.
Ralph was born December 15, 1943, in Rheems, PA and was the son of the late Ralph, Sr. and Beatrice (Garman) Zerphey.
Ralph retired from Armstrong Ceiling Plant. He was a licensed inspection mechanic and he loved working on cars especially for family and friends. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, doing yard work and bird watching, especially hummingbirds. He was always willing to help a friend or family member in need. His greatest passion was his family. He devoted his life to taking care of and loving Reba. He was the most amazing, loving dad, pappy, and pap-pap. He loved Jesus and was a church member of Shenks Brethern in Christ and Fountain of Life Christian Fellowship.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Reba, his son, William E. Zerphey, two daughters, Teresa L. and husband, David Wilkins and Suzanne M. and husband, William Fisher, his brother, Roger L. and wife, Ellen Zerphey, his sister, Lynda M. Schaffner, his grandchildren, Justin Fisher, John Heagy, III, Rebecca Wakefield and husband Zachary, Jordan Rastovac and husband Trenton, and his two great granddaughters, Peyton and Charlotte Wakefield.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, July 29, 2022 in the Temple Bible Church, 5880 Schoolhouse Road, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. A viewing will be held from 10 am to 12pm, Friday in the Church. Burial will be in the Shenkâs Community Cemetery, Elizabethtown, PA. The services will be live streamed.
