Raymond G. Meehan, 67, of Harrisburg, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at his home.
He was born on April 18, 1956 in Queens, NY, and was the son of the late Raymond P. and Evelyn (Nienhaus) Meehan.
Raymond was a former volunteer firefighter for Paxtonia and Colonial Park as well as a former member of the Cumberland County Search and Rescue Team and SAVES ( Shippensburg Area Verticle Extraction and Search).
He was a self-employed carpenter for the majority of his working career.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Donna (Porter) Meehan; four children, Anthony Klase and his wife Heather, Jamie Smith and her husband Brian, Josh Meehan and Andrew Sheaffer; two sisters Christine Bocko and her husband Jim and Mary Ann Comunale and her husband Mike; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services for Raymond will be at the convenience of the family.
The family has entrusted the care of the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Middletown to handle the funeral arrangements.
