Richard D. Bibb, 88, of Hummelstown, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 20, 2020 at Arden Courts of Susquehanna, Harrisburg. He was the widower of Gloria F. (Nauss) Bibb.
Richard was born in Middletown, PA on May 10, 1932 to the late William E. and Catherine V. (McCann) Bibb.
Richard was a US Air Force Korean War Veteran and a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Middletown, Prince Edwin-Spring Creek Lodge #486 F. & A.M., and a former member of the former Elizabethtown VFW. He loved to play golf with his buddies but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Richard is survived by his son, Richard D. and wife Laura Bibb, of Shillington, PA, his daughters, Beverly A. and husband, James Bailey, of Harrisburg and Kathleen B. and husband, Oscar Leon, of Hummelstown, his brothers, William D. Bibb and James E. and wife Carol Bibb, his grandchildren, Seth Kunder, Jordon Bibb, Brett Bibb, Alanna Leon and Olivia Leon and his two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Gloria and granddaughter, Samantha
Services will be held at 11 am, Friday, July 24, 2020 in the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 121 North Spring Street, Middletown, PA. A visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 am, Friday in the Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
