Obituary for Rodney S Garman

Rodney S. Garman, 55, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on August 4, 2022 at the Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born on November 29, 1966 in Harrisburg and was the son of Mary (Leggore) Garman and the late Michael Garman.
Rodney was a member of the VFW Post 1620, Middletown and the Rescue Home Association, Middletown. He enjoyed jet skiing, playing darts, gambling, fishing, music, listening to music with his son and listening to his son play his guitar. Above all, he loved family gatherings and family dinners.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Shannon (Finegan) Garman; a son, Cody Garman; a step-daughter, Nicole Vastine; three brothers, Mike Garman Jr., Mark Garman and Corey Garman; nieces and nephews, Zachary, Nicholas, Jyllian, Brendan, Patrick, Katie, Elizabeth, Jessica, Tara, Dylan, and Jeanette and great niece McKynlie.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to his very close friends that stayed by his side during his struggles.
A celebration of his life will be on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the Rescue Home Association, 600 S. Union St., Middletown, PA 17057, from 2:00 PM -6:00 PM.
