Obituary for Rodney L. Troutman

Rodney Lynn Troutman, 65, of Lancaster, PA, went home to be with his Lord on January 28, 2021.
He was born on October 21, 1955 in Harrisburg, PA the son of Wayne and the late Anna Mae (Zimmerman) Troutman.
Having spent much of his childhood in Middletown, PA, he was privileged to attend the special needs curriculum offered by Middletown area school district and graduated in 1976. His special needs requirements exacerbated by the Struge-Weber Syndrome were met by P.A.I. (Partners Achieving Independence) where he spent his later years.
Rodney loved camping with his family and traveling in the motor home where he was able to visit many of our United States and some Canadian Provinces. He loved spending time with his family especially visiting with his brother Bob on his farm. His gregarious nature resulted many lifelong friends and acquaintances. He made friends wherever he went.
He is survived by his father, his sister, Kathy Jo and friend, Bill, his two brothers, Robert and wife, Polly and Regan and his wife, Tamara, several nieces and nephews as well as several aunts and uncles.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 12 PM in the Lancaster Brethren in Christ Church, 1865 Fruitville Pike, Lancaster, PA. A viewing will be held from 11 AM until time of the service. Services may be viewed via live stream or any time following the services on www.matinchekfuneralhome.com and going to Rodney’s memorial page.
