Obituary for Ronald L. Robinson
Ronald L. Robinson, 82, of Hummelstown entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 4, 2022, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born March 6, 1940, in Harrisburg, PA to the late Leanus and Elizabeth (Miller) Robinson and was the husband of the late Virginia (Harris) Robinson.
Ron was a US Army Veteran, serving from 1963 to 1969, and a retired auto mechanic. He was a member of Penbrook Church of God, where he enjoyed making peanut butter eggs at Easter. Ron belonged to bowling leagues throughout most of his life. He loved growing roses, and visiting and sharing with neighbors. Ron volunteered time assembling jigsaw puzzles for the Middletown Public Library sale. He enjoyed spending time with his late brother Jim. Ron also enjoyed making beef jerky and teaching his grandchildren his secret recipe.
Ron is survived by his son, Brian Robinson and his wife, Nikki; his grandchildren, Dylan Robinson and Makenna Robinson; and two nieces, Debbie and Kiki. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, James Robinson and Edward Robinson.
Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, June 13, 2022 in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 4855 Londonderry Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
