Obituary for Samuel John Naples
Samuel John Naples, 67, of Middletown entered into heaven on April 2, 2022. He was born October 8, 1954 to Samuel F. and Jean M. (Staub) Naples.
Sam was loved by many for his sense of humor and loving heart. Sam spent nearly 50 years with Londonderry Fire Co where he was a past Fire chief and trustee. He was deeply involved with fire prevention and loved going to the school. He was also the Emergency Management Coordinator for Londonderry Township for many years. He enjoyed hunting for big buck and watching his Eagles play every Sunday.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Pam, and is survived by his sons, Samuel and Matthew, his sister Sandra Lockerman with husband Gary and brother David Naples with his wife Teri.
Viewings will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 5-8 PM and on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 10-noon at Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 260 E. Main St., Middletown, PA 17057. The funeral service will be held Saturday 4/9 at noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow services in Middletown Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.matinchekfuneralhome.com
