Obituary for Sandra Jo Crone (Johnson)
Sandra J. Crone, 78, of Hummelstown, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 6, 2023 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. She was the widow of William V. Crone.
Sandra was born on October 17, 1944 in Philipsburg, PA and was the daughter of the late Loretta (Rodkey) Fite and her step-father, the late James Fite.
Sandra loved to “go out” to eat. She enjoyed playing card and board games and bingo. Sandra liked on-line games, on-line shopping, ceramics and QVC. But her greatest love was her three daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She found great love and joy giving to her grandkids and great grandkids ensuring they wanted for nothing and in attending all of their dance recitals, sporting events and any other activity they participated in. She gave overwhelming kindness and generosity helping her family and those in need.
Sandra is survived by her daughters, Deonna Brown and husband, Dan, Karen Yeager and husband, Terry and Michelle Crone and husband, Joseph Lynn; her grandchildren, Selena Stephen (John Keener), Heather Clouser (Michael Crawford), Derik Yeager (Diana Yeager) and Krysta Yeager; and her great grandchildren, Cheyenna Clouser, Wyatt Clouser, Ace Stephen, Harper Stephen, Maverick Stephen, Declan Yeager, Donovan Yeager and Parker Hughes.
Services will held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 13, 2023 in the Matinchek Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. at 260 East Main Street, Middletown, PA. A viewing will be from 10 AM to 11 AM, Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin, PA.
