Obituary for Sean C. Steele
Sean C. Steele, of Hershey entered into eternal Rest, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Hershey Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
He was born May 11, 1969 in Camp Hill, PA and was the loving son of Samuel S. and Joan (Pehowic) Steele.
Sean was a member of the Hershey Italian Lodge. He was a lover of music, playing both the saxophone and guitar. He enjoyed travel, especially trips to Disney with his family. He enjoyed Pittsburgh Major League Sports. Was a fan of Marvel, and Star Wars, sharing these passions with his children. Sean loved Lionel Trains, and was a craft beer enthusiast.
In addition to his parents Sean is survived by his son, Justin S.J. Steele of Pittsburgh; daughter, Hannah J. Steele of Pittsburgh; aunt, Margaret Montgomery of Hershey; great-aunt and uncle, Herbert and Audra Henderson of Middletown.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Matinchek Funeral Home, 260 E. Main St. Middletown, PA with Reader Gregory Sagan officiating. There will be a visitation from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday.
A celebration of his life will be held by the family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Sean's name to Mt. Lebanon High School Percussion Ensemble, 155 Cochran Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15228.
