Theodore B. DeLuca 92 of Londonderry Township was called home to be with his Lord on April 6,
2020 at his home.
Ted was born in Glen Lyon, Pa the son of the late Abela and Cecilia (Vital) DeLuca.
Ted attended Mountain Top and Newport Township high schools graduating from Newport High
School. He also attended Wilkes College in Wilkes-Barre and Rider College in New Jersey.
Ted married Helen H. Koshinski of Honey Pot section of Nanticoke. He loved her very dearly. Helen
passed away on March 28, 1989.
Ted was employed by the Navy Ships Parts Control Center in Hampden Township as an Equipment
Specialist Supervisor from where he retired in 1985. Prior to that he was employed by the Olmsted Air
Force Base, Middletown, Pa as a foreman.
Ted was preceded in death by a sister Cynthia Poproski.
Ted was a member of Mountain View Bible Church of Hummelstown, Pa. Ted was a World War II
Navy Veteran and a member of the DAV, VFW and the American Legion.
Surviving are four sons, Greg and his wife Elizabeth of Mechanicsburg, Pa, Jeff and his wife Lucy of
Hershey, Pa, Stephen and his wife Angela of Harrisburg, Pa and Bernard and his wife Maria of
Columbus, OH. There are 9 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are brothers Donald DeLuca of Vestal, NY and David DeLuca and his wife Barbara of Wapwallopen, Pa
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent in Theodore's name to Hospice of Central Pa, 1320 Linglestown Rd. Harrisburg, PA 17110.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
The family has entrusted the Matinchek Funeral Home, 260 E. Main St. Middletown, PA with the funeral arrangements.
