Virginia Helen Galati, 96, a lifetime resident of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on January 19, 2022 surrounded by family at home. She was born September 6, 1925 in Middletown to the late Vito and Genesia (Acri) Magaro. She was predeceased by her loving husband Nicholas Galati.
She is survived by 2 children, Joseph Galati and Anita Lynch and husband Craig; 2 grandchildren, Joseph Galati, II and Mikayla Galati; 1 great-granddaughter, Gianina Galati; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by 14 siblings.
Virginia was a lifetime member of Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Seven Sorrows of the BVM, 280 N. Race St., Middletown, PA 17057. Burial will follow the Mass in Middletown Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Matinchek Funeral Home & Cremations Services, Inc., 260 E.
