Obituary for William L. Kimmick
William Lee Kimmick, 75 entered into eternal rest on May 1, 2021. He was born October 22, 1945 in Dayton, OH to the late Lowell E. and Violet (Bright) Kimmick. He grew up in Lompoc, CA. After a period of service in the US Army, he moved to the Harrisburg area where he raised his family, and retired from Three Mile Island.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Nicole Kimmick of NH, Courtney Kimmick Lind and husband Jamieson of CA, and Andrea Firth and husband Brian of PA; 4 grandchildren, Ruby Lind, Lucy Lind, Ellen Firth, and Laura Firth; and 2 siblings, Linda Vulgamore and husband Roger and Michael Kimmick and wife Linda. He was predeceased by his loving wife Theresa (Hydrick) Kimmick; and a brother.
Services were held privately. Burial took place in Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg, PA. Services were entrusted to Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 260 E. Main St., Middletown, PA 17057.
