Obituary for William Jay Mumma

William Jay Mumma, Sr., 90, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on January 6, 2021. He was born October 18, 1930 in Middletown, PA to the late Earl John and Mary V. (Manning) Mumma. He was predeceased by his loving wife Dawn L. (Lopez) Mumma.

He is survived by a daughter, Mary J. Burger; a son, William J. Mumma, Jr.; a grandson, Justin M. Burger and significant other Brittany Rahn; 2 great-grandchildren, Jordan A. Burger and Landon Basch; and feline companion, Lucky. He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Earl J. Mumma, Jr. and Joseph T. Mumma.

William worked as an iron worker for over 40 years before enjoying retirement. He was a member of the Prince Edwin-Spring Creek Lodge 486 and of the Zembo Temple Shriners. William’s beloved hobby was mowing the grass.
