Obituary for William Allan Young
William Allan Young, 85, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Oak Hill Village, Middletown.
He was born on May 29, 1937 in Wellsboro, PA and was the son of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Rosa) Young.
His friends knew him as Allan and he graduated from Wellsboro High School in 1955. He also graduated from Williamsport Technical Institute with a Welding Engineering Degree. He then went one to graduate from Arlington State in Texas with a B.A. in Business Administration.
Alan worked his way through college by teaching dancing at Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Texas.
Allan worked for the United Engineers out of New York City for several years. He was then transferred to Three Mile Island to become second in command of the construction of the Nuclear Power Plant. After leaving three mile island, he worked in Spain and St. Thomas on the construction of their nuclear power plants.
Allan loved scuba diving and spent a lot of time in the ocean.
Allan was a people person and loved parties and entertaining. You could always find Allan with his three little pygmy goats. The kids in the neighborhood would love to come and feed the goats.
Allan is survived by his wife Theresa M. Kozloski; his step children, Toni and Lynn; step grandchildren, Ian and Lauren; two nieces, Linda and Judy.
