Doug was such a joy to be a friend and neighbor. I loved to hear him talk on current and past events. Such a wealth of knowledge. He was always pounding a hammer somewhere and we would come home to newly planted plants because they needed a home. He even gifted a gnome to let me know, water them.. We will forever treasure his friendship and love. He called me a few weeks ago because I’d been ill. He worried about me when he was fighting cancer. That was the kind of friend we all deserve and want. Godspeed Doug.. Doug and Bj Hosking

I’m so very sorry to hear about Uncle Doug. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. He always made me smile and gave out the best hugs. I have tons of memories of Dad and Uncle Doug just talking and laughing. He will be tremendously missed by all that were blessed to know him. Sending everyone my love.
